How to Attach Toe Strip to Wall Tile

Christie is remodeling her bathroom in Monroe, CT. She's conflicted about how to attach the toe strip on top of her laminate flooring.

"I recently painted my ceramic wall tile with a tub and tile paint by Rustoleum, and installed vinyl plank flooring in my bathroom.  I have quarter round to match the flooring for the base trim.  How should I attach this to tile and floor.  I was thinking liquid nail.  But can I put liquid nail on the flooring because of expansion?"

Christie, I'd just glue it to the wall tile and allow it to float on top of the moving laminate flooring. You'll not need much adhesive to keep it in place.
